As an Inventory Manager, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our inventory processes and ensuring seamless supply chain operations. Your expertise will drive efficiency in warehouse distribution, purchasing, and procurement, while fostering strong supplier relationships. You'll leverage data analytics to enhance inventory control and demand planning, ultimately contributing to our organization's success.
What you'll do
Oversee inventory management processes to ensure optimal stock levels and accuracy.
Collaborate with supply chain teams to enhance logistics and warehouse management strategies.
Conduct thorough data analysis and visualization using tools like Power BI and Tableau to inform decision-making.
Implement process improvements through root cause analysis and category management initiatives.
Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
Manage the shipping & receiving processes to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Utilize ERP systems, including AS400, for effective materials management and financial modeling.
Lead efforts in demand planning and forecasting to align inventory with market needs.
Basic qualifications
Proven experience in inventory management or a related field.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data mining and SQL.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and materials handling practices.
Preferred qualifications
Experience in e-commerce inventory strategies.
Knowledge of 3PL (third-party logistics) operations.
Forklift certification is a plus.
