What you'll do

Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess and obsolete stock. Oversee procurement activities, including sourcing, purchasing, and contract negotiation with suppliers. Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues affecting inventory accuracy and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in production planning and category management to align inventory with manufacturing needs. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to enhance supplier management practices. Monitor pricing strategies to ensure competitive positioning while maintaining quality standards.

Experience

Proven experience in inventory management or a related field, demonstrating strong knowledge of supply chain management principles. Familiarity with materials management, logistics, and quality management practices will set you apart as a candidate. Experience with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems is a plus for aligning production schedules with inventory levels. MS Office, Google Suite and any Spreadsheet experience will be important Any construction or Window & Door industry experience will be an asset.
