The Inventory Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing and optimizing inventory levels to ensure efficient operations within the supply chain. This position involves analyzing data, forecasting demand, and coordinating with various departments to maintain optimal stock levels. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and experience in inventory management and warehousing processes.
Duties
Monitor inventory levels and perform regular audits to ensure accuracy. This would include cycle counts, monthly inventory counts and yearly counts.
Utilize analytics and data visualization tools such as Camelot to generate reports on inventory status.
Collaborate with production and supply chain teams to manage materials effectively.
Help implement process improvements in warehouse distribution and order fulfillment operations.
Conduct data collection and analysis to support decision-making in inventory management.
Manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers for efficient warehouse management.
Utilize ERP systems, for tracking inventory movements and procurement activities.
Support initiatives by analyzing sales data and trends to inform inventory decisions.
Maintain compliance with safety regulations while operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment.
Qualifications
Proven experience in inventory management, supply chain, or related fields.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Camelot for analysis and monitoring inventory.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and materials management practices.
Strong overall computer skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments while managing multiple priorities effectively.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on process improvement initiatives.
