About us:

The Enterprise Applications and Solutions Integration (EASI) department within the Chief Information Officer's (CIO) Division is a central department responsible for all matters pertaining to the development, maintenance and effectiveness of the core administrative management and student systems at the U of T. Included within these responsibilities are all central SAP systems, such as Financial Services, Human Resources, Research Administration and Procurement; the central U of T Student System (ROSI); approximately 40 related vendor and specialized web applications, as well as central Business Intelligence and Document Management applications.

Your opportunity:

Under the general direction of the Student information Systems (SIS) Client Services & Process Integration Manager, you will be part of a dynamic, collaborative and innovative team creating, implementing, and supporting curriculum and student records applications. You will work in cross functional teams with UX designers, developers, analysts and stakeholders on new and existing products using established methodologies including Agile development processes. This includes regular and ongoing configuration of the University's enterprise Salesforce application to meet the evolving needs of our stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Analyzing, recommending, and designing highly complex software architecture
  • Checking that security authorization meets University guidelines and project requirements
  • Developing technical application implementation plans
  • Reconciling business requirements with information architecture needs for highly complex system integration
  • Analyzing, recommending and designing technical solutions for highly complex IT problems
  • Developing task schedules in concert with project schedules
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
  • Ensuring that appropriate development and testing environments were established
Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or acceptable combination of education and experience
  • Minimum five years recent and related experience, including three (3) years as a Salesforce Administrator
  • Demonstrated experience with Service Cloud and Experience Cloud
  • Demonstrated experience with IT project implementation, including developing project schedules
  • Demonstrated experience designing, testing, and modifying processes and workflows within the Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud, and ensuring they adhere to industry standards, and are testable
  • Experience developing, optimizing, and and supporting database servers, including but not limited to, MS SQL, MySQL
  • Experience developing technical application implementation plans
  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written), including strong presentation and graphical communication skills
  • Proven ability to work well with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Proven ability to create, communicate, and implement technical visions
  • Proven ability to find solutions to difficult and complex problems and to manage multiple projects and assignments simultaneously
  • Demonstrated initiative and the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Ability and inclination to keep technical skills up-to-date and relevant
  • Ability to maintain the integrity and confidentiality of personal data
  • Highly proficient with managing and creating user access roles within the Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud environments

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator Certification
  • Understanding of AURA and APEX programming languages
  • Understanding of LWC and how they are used and deployed within a Salesforce environment
