This is an intermediate accountant position that requires 2-5 years of experience in general accounting, reconciliation and month end closing. What your day-to-day will look like:
- Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Inputting of invoices, posting to the General Ledger
- Weekly cheque runs and Bank deposits
- Expense reports
- Bank and Account reconciliation
- Month-end closing activities
What you bring to the company:
\xe2\x97\x8f Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
\xe2\x97\x8f 2-5 years experience working in accounting including AP, AR, payroll, intercompany transactions, consolidation, multiple currencies and audit experience
\xe2\x97\x8f Intermediate Excel skills
\xe2\x97\x8f SAGE experience preferred OR Large ERP
\xe2\x97\x8f Detail oriented and self-starter
\xe2\x97\x8f Ability to prioritize workload to meet multiple deadlines
\xe2\x97\x8f Must be highly organized, independent and work well under pressure
\xe2\x97\x8f Thrive in a fast-paced environment, and able to adapt to changing business needs
\xe2\x97\x8f Excellent written and verbal communications skills
