Are you an Accountant searching for a new opportunity? Robert Half is working on a 9-month contract role with a non profit organization in Toronto. This is an intermediate accountant position that requires 2-5 years of experience in general accounting, reconciliation and month end closing. What your day-to-day will look like:
- Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Inputting of invoices, posting to the General Ledger
- Weekly cheque runs and Bank deposits
- Expense reports
- Bank and Account reconciliation
- Month-end closing activities
What you bring to the company:
Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2-5 years experience working in accounting including AP, AR, payroll, intercompany transactions, consolidation, multiple currencies and audit experience
Intermediate Excel skills
SAGE experience preferred OR Large ERP
Detail oriented and self-starter
Ability to prioritize workload to meet multiple deadlines
Must be highly organized, independent and work well under pressure
Thrive in a fast-paced environment, and able to adapt to changing business needs
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
