We're currently seeking a skilled and motivated Interior Design Technologist to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who's ready to grow their career in a supportive, fast-paced, and design-focused environment.
What You'll Do:
Support the Interior Designer in day to day project tasks
Producing detailed floor plans, elevations, sections, and renderings
Preparing permit-ready construction drawings
Completing specification documentation and coordinating project materials
Staying up to date with local/national building codes, bylaws, and industry standards
Maintaining confidentiality with sensitive client and company information.
What You Bring to the Team
We're looking for someone with a strong technical foundation and a collaborative, detail-oriented mindset.
You'll be successful in this role if you have:
A diploma or degree in Interior Design Technology, Architectural Technology, or a related field (required)
1+ years of experience in the design and/or construction industry
Proficiency in Sketchup, Layout, and Enscape (required)
Strong understanding of building codes, technical standards, and drafting practices
Excellent communication and organizational skills
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail
Strong time management and multitasking abilities
A proactive, tech-savvy mindset - comfortable working with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, cloud-based tools, and other design software
