TBD Architecture + Urban Planning is searching for an Intermediate - Senior Interior Design Technologist or Interior Designer. We are an Edmonton-based architectural design studio specializing in Sports and Recreation, Civic/Cultural, and Urban Master Planning projects. We are currently working on a number of high-profile projects in these sectors across Western Canada and the Caribbean.

About the Position
This position requires an organized individual with a minimum of 5-7 years' experience who is equally capable of working independently or providing project team leadership on projects varying in scale and typology. Preferred is a candidate with a multi-faceted background demonstrating familiarity with all technical aspects of interior design.
Requirements
Diploma or equivalent in Interior Design Technology or Degree in Bachelor of Interior Design
Advanced Skills Set in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and BlueBeam
Experience with Revit, Enscape, AutoCAD, and Sketch-up
Experience with Canadian building codes, standards, and bylaws
Exceptional communication ability (both written and verbal)
Experience in all project phases from Schematic Design through Construction Administration
Proficiency in creating design concepts that align with Client needs
Understanding of building construction and the value of effective technical documents
Excellent organizational, time management and prioritization skills
Ability to work in a team environment , lead interior design projects and delegate project assignments to Junior Staff.
Ability to lead and or assist with client meetings.
Participate and collaborate in a project team setting through all phases of the project scope.
Additional Assets (Not Required, but Preferable)
5-7 Years minimum with project lead / management experience
Ability to utilize/knowledge of BIM coordination tools with consultants is an asset
Familiarity with various construction delivery methods
WELL, LEED, Rick Hansen, or other sustainable/accessibility accreditations
