Operations & Procurement Manager
Jessica Leigh Interiors Inc. (JLI) is a full-service residential design firm based in Toronto. We're a small, passionate team that loves creating fabulous spaces for our clients. Our work has been featured in House & Home, Style at Home, the Toronto Star, and HGTV.
We're looking for a contract Operations & Procurement Manager to support our growing studio.

The Role
We are seeking an Operations & Procurement Manager with 3-5 years of relevant experience to support both our design team and our clients.
Contract role: 10-20 hours per week (possibility for hours to increase)
Compensation: $35-$45 per hour, depending on experience
Location: In-person at our JLI studio in Leslieville, Toronto
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate client files, records, and project status updates
Set up and manage projects in Asana
Prepare proposals, purchase orders, and work orders for vendors
Obtain quotes, pricing, stock availability, and product details for all project items
Support the design team with specifying, quoting, budgeting, invoicing, sample acquisition, order processing, shipping, deliveries, and installations
Track and manage orders from processing to delivery
Conduct quality checks of project items and resolve deficiencies
Provide clients with timely updates on project and accounting status
Coordinate logistics for installations, including scheduling deliveries and on-site support
Assist with pick-ups, deliveries, and site visits as needed
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Maintain and organize the sample library
Create and manage client binders and site binders
Update the JLI website as required
Support marketing initiatives, including social media and general strategy
Provide executive and personal support to the Principal Designer
Key Qualifications
Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly
Bookkeeping experience required
Proficiency with Google Workspace applications
Experience with Asana (or similar project management tools) preferred
Familiarity with Design Docs, Studio Designer, or similar industry software an asset
Exceptional organizational and project management skills
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, while maintaining a big-picture view
Self-starter with initiative, but able to take direction effectively
Professional, polished, and confident presence
Previous experience in interior design a plus, but not required
