We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Integrated Planning Manager, Seed. The Integrated Business Planning Manager is responsible for managing demand for all products in the portfolio in the respective Commercial Unit (or region). Develop demand plans at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons for use in sales and operations planning and supply planning. The Integrated Business Planning Manager will interact with marketing, sales, customer service, supply chain operations and finance to facilitate the planning process. Lead process, provide training and coaching of demand planning at all levels in Commercial Unit, including leading Integrated Business Planning management reviews. This is not a supervisory role.

Responsibilities:
What do we expect from you?

  • Develops the aggregate demand plan and supporting assumptions on a monthly basis for the sales and operations planning work process by working with marketers and sales professionals.
  • Ensures forecasts are updated by sales team monthly and flawless data integrity.
  • Facilitates the development of macro forecast to validate the overall size of the business in the region and identifies improvements or slippage in market share at specific accounts.
  • Ensures forecasters develop, document, update and challenge the factors and assumptions supporting the demand plan.
  • Prepares and facilitates the monthly Canada demand review meeting followed by the North American (NC) demand plan review meetings as a part of the integrated business planning process focused on preparing and delivering the long-term demand forecast (3-18 months horizon), including analysis of major deviations from prior demand plans.
  • Develops, maintains and utilizes forecasting and communication tools to accomplish tasks related to management of demand in the Canadian region (e.g. forecast accuracy metrics, demand dashboards).
  • Monitors performance to the monthly, quarterly and annual demand plans. Measures and reports actual vs. planned performance and bias overall by market segment, sales territory, product family and mix.
  • Provides training to employees in all aspects of demand management and forecasting. Uses and maintains IBP tool and ensures discipline of use by forecasters.
  • Acts as the focal point for supply planning and assists in the resolution of issues related to supply and demand imbalances, product allocation and deviations from planned inventory levels.
  • Participates in the development of \xe2\x80\x9cwhat if\xe2\x80\x9d scenarios to resolve supply and demand imbalances.
  • Leads the sales and operations execution meeting focused on reviewing open orders to ensure short term estimates are met.
  • Leads and participates in project teams focused on delivering improvements in business operations (e.g. Business Service Standards, Pricing Excellence, S&OP Redesign, etc.).
  • Provides statistical and quantitative expertise that can be used to analyze complex statistical models while communicating succinctly key outcomes and necessary decisions to colleagues at various levels of the organization.

  • Bachelor\'s degree is required.
  • Proficient in the advanced use of Excel functions and capabilities for data analysis
  • A minimum requirement for this Canada based position is the ability to work legally in Canada. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of Canada permanent residency (green card) process.
  • Leader with superior analytical skills, exceptional oral and written communication skills and who can see the \xe2\x80\x9cbig picture\xe2\x80\x9d while still paying attention to detail.
  • Possesses the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Capable of presenting forecasts to all levels of management with supporting analysis and assumptions.
  • Able to coach and create a team environment that promotes diverse ideas so that we can get the best outcomes that support the growth of our customers, colleagues and the communities we are part of.
  • Results driven and possesses a strong sense of personal accountability and bias for action.
  • Proficient at managing multiple priorities and meeting commitments.
  • SAP experience is of value
