Your Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will deliver high-quality and playful home and community-based ABA therapy services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and developmental exceptionalities across the GTA. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing compliant and quality ABA programming, teaching, and training in one-on-one settings.
• Employing excellent time management and organizational abilities to show up to sessions on time and prepared.
• Being adaptable and playful to engage clients, adjust approaches, and actively manage inappropriate behaviors.
• Documenting the client\xe2\x80\x99s progress with detailed notes and providing consistent updates to parents or guardians.
• Tracking and maintaining data for graphing, reporting, and all necessary aspects of the role.
• Working collaboratively with client teams to develop strategies and share learning and best practices.

What You Bring to the Table

• Possess a degree or diploma in Applied Behavior Analysis, Autism & Behavioral Science, Early Childhood Education, or Psychology.
• Hands-on internship, volunteer, and practicum experience working with children with special needs.
• You\xe2\x80\x99re a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willing to work towards your certification.
• Have a valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license, access to a vehicle, and the willingness to travel across the GTA.
• You\xe2\x80\x99re a problem-solver passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with exceptionalities.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities with the ability to lead with compassion, attention, and care.
• Exceptional time-management abilities to prioritize competing tasks and thrive in dynamic work environments.
• You present yourself professionally and confidentially when working with participants, their families, and the community.

Nice to Haves

• Paid experience as an Instructor Therapist is highly preferred for this position.
• First Aid, CPR or CPI training is considered an asset.
