Job description New Horizons Centre for Autism is seeking a dedicated, energetic and passionate instructor therapist to work with individuals with autism in a home-based setting. You will be working 1:1 providing applied behavior analysis (ABA) for social, school readiness, life skills, and communication skill building. This is a part time Independent Contractor position (09 hrs per week). Tuesday, Wednesday,Thursday and Friday 5:00-7:00 PM Role and Responsibility: \xc2\xb7 Implement client specific programs using principles of Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) \xe2\x80\x93 in the client home \xc2\xb7 Work under the supervision of a Senior Therapist and a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) \xc2\xb7 Record and graph data \xc2\xb7 Write sessions notes \xc2\xb7 Track behaviour data/ follow behaviour protocols \xc2\xb7 Prepare materials as required \xc2\xb7 Participate in treatment planning and monitoring child progress on regular basis \xc2\xb7 Liaise with parents about progress of session Qualification: \xc2\xb7 Bachelors\xe2\x80\x99 degree or college diploma in a related field such as \xc2\xb7 At least 6 months experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder implementing ABA strategies \xc2\xb7 A track record of effective communication with colleagues, parents, and supervisors \xc2\xb7 Ability to work collaboratively with others on the team \xc2\xb7 An understanding of the fundamentals and procedures of effective behavioral services. \xc2\xb7 Available to work evenings and weekends \xc2\xb7 Proven attendance record \xc2\xb7 Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) or working towards RBT certification is an asset Must have: Vulnerable Sector Screen, Covid 19 vaccination (both doses) Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Part-time hours: 9 per week Salary: $20.00-$29.00 per hour Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
