SPARK is continuing to grow and we are looking to add an Instructor Therapist (IT) to our team! SPARK is a multidisciplinary private practice that services Durham Region and surrounding areas and provides therapies and services to children/youth and their families. SPARK is a provider/subcontractor of the Entry to School Program (a school readiness program funded by MCCSS under the Early Years Pillar of the Ontario Autism Program). We are presently seeking a full-time IT to join our team in supporting this innovative program, as well as other programs/services offered by SPARK. Why Work at SPARK? \xc2\xb7 Opportunity to work within the MCCSS funded Entry to School Program at the Port Hope site - a school readiness program funded under the OAP \xc2\xb7 Competitive compensation \xc2\xb7 Comprehensive benefits package \xc2\xb7 A supportive, multidisciplinary team environment Responsibilities and Duties: \xc2\xb7 Provision of service as a part of the Entry to School program team \xc2\xb7 Implementing a non-therapeutic early learning curriculum within a group setting, with focus on the facilitation of skill-development in preparation of starting school \xc2\xb7 Accessing guidance and implementing recommendations from a multidisciplinary supervisory team composed of Behaviour Analytic, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Language Pathology professionals \xc2\xb7 Prioritizing client safety, dignity, and autonomy \xc2\xb7 Adhering to SPARK\xe2\x80\x99s policies and procedures Qualifications and Skills: \xc2\xb7 Graduate certificate in Autism and Behavioural Science (or equivalent combination of relevant post-secondary education and experience) \xc2\xb7 Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) certification, preferred \xc2\xb7 Experience working with autistic preschool-aged children \xc2\xb7 Commitment to progressive, ethical, and strength-based services that aim to affirm clients\xe2\x80\x99 neurodivergent identities \xc2\xb7 Effective communication skills \xc2\xb7 Takes initiative and works well independently and as part of a team \xc2\xb7 Recent Vulnerable Sector Screening Job Type: Full-time Salary: $20.00-$26.00 per hour Benefits:
