PURPOSE OF POSITION Missing Links Autism is seeking Instructor Therapists to work onsite in Burlington for group based and one to one program teaching students Autism Spectrum Disorder and other exceptionalities using Applied Behaviour Analysis (IBI/ ABA) teaching strategies. The function of the role is to implement daily intervention successfully. ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Implement ABA techniques in group and one to one programming.
- Record data and progress through detailed notes.
- Participate in collaborative planning, assessing, and behaviour.
- Consistent communication with the clinical team.
- Outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
- Independent and multi-disciplinary teamwork effectiveness
- Training / Development capabilities
- Computer / technology competencies
- Applied Behavioural Science Diploma and / or
- College Diploma or BA in Psychology in a related field
- 1+ year(s) experience as an instructor therapist implementing ABA teaching strategies.
- Experience working with developmental disabilities / behaviours
- Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) or working towards RBT certification is an asset.
