Our inside sales advertising account executives are the backbone of Lester's success, generating advertising revenue in print and digital mediums, including a number of trade and professional magazines. A fun, engaging, fast-paced and challenging position. Our advertising account executives target and qualify prospective clients that are looking to sell products and services to specific markets and establish long-term advertising relationships with corporate decision-makers across North America and abroad.
What you'll do:
As an inside sales advertising account executive, you will actively seek out and call prospective clients and work directly with existing clients to grow advertising sales in multiple publications. Communicate and work with the team to ensure a clear understanding of sales goals and the work for each product. You will work closely with multiple departments to develop strategies, discuss challenges, develop solutions and support the growth of the business as a valuable member of our team.
Who you are:
You are an engaging, motivated and well-spoken salesperson with the ability to organize and deliver advertising recommendations in an attractive, persuasive and concise way. You're effective at communicating and organizing information, delivering results and staying focused while being conscious of timelines, budgets, and quality. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and exceed at time management while working on multiple concurrent projects.
The successful candidate will have:
One to three years of sales experience (B2B sales is an asset)
Confidence to cold-call prospective clients and discuss opportunities with them
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
Computer proficiency (Web browsers, Outlook, MS Office)
Excellent time management skills in a deadline-driven environment
Reliability and a positive, can-do, enthusiastic attitude
Willingness to learn new industries and business sectors in North America
Relentless desire to succeed at every task
