In-Room Dining Captain

What you will be doing:
  • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
  • Understands and executes all roles of the In Room Dining (minibar attendant, server and order taker)
  • Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way
  • Have full knowledge of all beverage lists
  • Deliver food and beverage in a timely and accurate manner
  • Pick up orders efficiently from the kitchen
  • Check outgoing orders for quality and accuracy of set up
  • Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods
  • Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage.
  • Supervision and leadership of In-Room Dining department
  • Performance reviews and scheduling of In-Room Dining department
  • Assists Banquet Department in the absence of Banquet Captain
  • Responsible for monthly ordering and inventory
  • Other duties as assigned
Your experience and skills include:
  • Service focused personality is essential and a passion for everything food and beverage
  • Previous experience in a similar leadership role is an asset
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities and the ability to lead by example
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Previous Point of Sale System is an asset
  • As a condition of employment, you must be fully vaccinated against COVD-19 and able to show proof of vaccination prior to start date
