Job Description
Our client, a locally-owned Winnipeg success story, has partnered with Stacey Danley at Aplin on the search for In-House Legal Counsel. This newly created role will advise the executive team on a wide range of corporate legal matters.

- Provide legal advice and guidance on a wide range of corporate legal matters
- Liaise with external counsel on matters relating to IP, commercial leasing, and licensing agreements
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents
- Develop legal strategies and mitigate risk to the organization
- Provide representation in legal proceedings
- Review contractual relationships and ensure compliance with provincial and federal laws
- A Bachelor of Laws/Juris Doctor degree
- Be in good standing with the Law Society of Manitoba
- 3+ years of related experience, ideally in corporate law or a similar in-house position
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- An ability to work independently and adapt to an ever-changing work environment
