In House Counsel - Commercial Real Estate & Leasing
MontrealThis is a great opportunity to do a contract if you are passionate about real estate and want to make the transition as an in-house counsel. Do you enjoy working with commercial leases and would like to learn more about real estate transactions?Our client, a major player in the Canadian business scene, is currently looking for a bilingual legal counsel specializing in the negotiation/drafting of real estate documents to carry out an eighteen-month contract, with the possibility of becoming a permanent position.This employer, a dynamic Canadian company with a very enviable reputation, offers a work environment where you can grow professionally, as well as very advantageous conditions and compensation.YOUR ROLE:

• Negotiate and draft commercial leases and various related commercial contracts;
• Act as a resource person for all matters related to commercial leases;
• Participate in purchase and sale transactions for the company\'s real estate portfolio;
• Collaborate with various stakeholders in the real estate sector to successfully complete various innovative projects;
• Conduct analysis and prepare legal opinions regarding the interpretation of various real property related legal documents.

SKILLS REQUIRED :
The desired candidate must :

• Be a member of the Quebec Bar
• Have a minimum of three (3) years of tangible experience in legal mandates related to commercial real estate
• Meticulousness, attention to detail and strong writing skills (both in French and English) are also required for this position.
