Senior In-House Counsel- Clean EnergyOur client, a progressive real estate firm, is seeking an in-house legal counsel with Clean/Green Energy experience. The Senior counsel will provide legal support and coordinate with other internal functions to ensure will work with multiple internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization. One must demonstrate a proactive, practical, and results-oriented approach to providing legal services. As Legal Counsel, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be expected to manage shifting workloads and priorities through excellent communication and understanding of various perspectives and priorities.Duties:

• Draft, negotiate, analyze and provide legal advice and support with respect to a broad range of commercial contracts, including contracts for technology-based products and services.
• Provide legal support for M&A transactions
• Provide product/service regulatory compliance support for assigned portfolio of services
• Provide timely and efficient commercial legal guidance on a broad range of legal issues, including general corporate matters, intellectual property, commercial law, product legal/regulatory compliance requirements, and dispute management and resolution.

Qualifications:

• JD degree and membership in the Law Society and barred one province of Canada, preferably Ontario
• At least 7 full years of practice
• Proactive, collaborative, diligent, flexible, and strives for operational excellence
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment in web, app, social networking, internet, or technology companies
• Experience working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholder groups
