As a Industrial Sales Representative, you be responsible for acting as a liaison between the company and customers. You will assess the needs of the customer and provide a solution by promoting relevant products, and explaining clearly how they work.Responsibilities

  • Establish a territory in the Ontario, Canada area for which you will be responsible by following up on leads, researching potential customers, and making sales calls
  • Attend training events, meetings, and conference with your mentors to learn and develop the necessary skills to become a professional salesman for Morrell. (Morrell Senior Sales Representatives and Product Managers will be responsible for mentoring you for the first three months)
  • Attend training (Corporate office- Auburn Hills, MI) that is provided by Morrell and/or Morrell Suppliers (Hydac, Rexroth, Emerson, and Sick)
  • Cold calling and scheduling appointments with potential new and current Morrell accounts
  • Work with our inside sales staff as well as product managers to learn the operating system and product technology
  • Promote all Morrell offered services and products including Stegner
  • Inform customers of available products by anticipating their needs and introducing new products and solutions
  • Identifying and respond promptly to customer requests
  • Evaluate product applications and assist customers with product scope, technical description, proposals and project management
  • Travel to off-site business and customer locations
  • Foster a positive team environment by assisting co-workers
  • Follow quality standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
  • Other duties as assigned

Education
  • High School Diploma
  • Engineering Degree (Preferably Electrical Engineering Degree)
