Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety, with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment where teamwork, leadership, and attention to detail are essential. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining cleanliness standards, and supporting the overall operations of our kitchen. Previous restaurant experience and supervisory skills are highly valued for this position.

Responsibilities



Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen areas Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times Assist in supervising junior kitchen staff and coordinate tasks during shifts Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations Support restaurant management in maintaining high standards of hospitality and service Serve dishes efficiently while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail

Qualifications



Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting Supervising experience or team management skills are preferred Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with excellent time management skills Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate team members Knowledge of the food industry, restaurant operations, and customer service principles Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends and holidays if required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
