We are seeking a skilled and creative Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and the ability to lead a kitchen team in delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of Indian curries to the restaurant's high standards.
Manage ingredient inventory and ensure freshness of all kitchen supplies.
Develop new curry recipes and improve existing ones.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
Train and supervise junior kitchen staff.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Monitor and manage kitchen staff schedules.
Assist in planning and budgeting for kitchen operations.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an Indian Curry Chef or in a similar role.
Extensive knowledge of Indian spices and cooking techniques.
Certification from a culinary school is preferred.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
