We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of culinary experience and a strong background in food production and preparation. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety, and leading a team of kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
Duties
Supervise and manage kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
Maintain food safety and hygiene standards in accordance with health regulations.
Create innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques, food presentation, and kitchen operations.
Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and minimising waste to optimise kitchen efficiency.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment at all times.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Strong supervisory skills with experience in team management.
Extensive knowledge of food production techniques and culinary practices.
Excellent cooking skills with an emphasis on creativity and presentation.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
