Job Description

We are growing! We are looking for a. IML and Set-Up Technician to join the Jokey North America team.

The Jokey Group consists of 14 production sites in 11 countries, employing over 2,500 employees and supplying customers in over 80 countries. We manufacture high quality injection moulded plastic buckets and lids for food and non-food items. Using monoplastics, we aim to decrease our environmental impact, and strengthen our contributions towards the development of a sustainable and circular economy.

This position is on a set Continental Schedule. We are hiring for day shift 6am-6pm. During the training period, there is an expectation to work Monday-Friday 8am-4pm.

Position Responsibilities:

Control the machine and robot parameters on the basis of the manufacturing master data sheets and the target specifications (i.e. cycle time, weight of shot, etc.); Inform the Lead Hands/ Production Manager about necessary machine repairs; Perform robot set changes, equipment repairs and machine and robot maintenance in a timely manner; Make improvements to robots to improve efficiency and reduce downtime; Read electrical schematics and pneumatics; Maintain a preventive maintenance program and records for injection machines and robots; Participate in improvement projects as necessary

Qualifications:

Experience with automation programs; Experience with robotics; Strong organization, and time management skills Proven communication skills (both verbal and written) Team Player Highly organized with a strong attention to detail Self-starter
Good computer skills including MS Office
