Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in CNC programming and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to read blueprints and utilize CAD software. This role involves programming and set up of CNC machines, including Haas lathes and Haas milling machines, to produce high-quality components that meet precise specifications.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize CNC programs for various machining processes using Fanuc controls. Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining requirements. Set up and operate 3 axis and 4 axis CNC and milling machines, and Haas CNC lathes ensuring accuracy and quality of finished products. Utilize SolidWorks and CAD software for designing parts and creating detailed machining instructions. Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production. Conduct inspections using calipers and other measuring tools to verify dimensions of machined parts. Collaborate with the manufacturing team to implement lean manufacturing principles for efficiency improvements. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols while operating hand tools, power tools, and forklifts.

Qualifications

Proven experience in CNC programming and machining with a strong understanding of machining processes. Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings. Familiarity with SolidWorks, CAD software, and basic math skills for calculations related to machining. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience with lean manufacturing techniques is a plus.
