What you will be doing:
Responsible to represent the company with external Professional Services vendors and partners, building a foundation of support and leverages these relationships to deliver in the best interests of the companys customers.
Accountable for direction and consulting to the the companys sales teams and customers as it relates to the sale and delivery of Professional Services to customers.
Provides a technical leadership role in the Professional Services portfolio, accountable for technical qualification to close sales opportunities and specifically for assisting in the achievement of revenue targets for the portfolio.
Accountable for approving sales proposal pricing and profitability, for quality assurance of all sales documentation, and for reviewing and ensuring sales contracts accuracy and ensuring external vendor contracts are signed.
Accountable to effectively and consistently manage customer engagements, when work is being completed by external third-party resources, to ensure delivery of the companys contracted services.
Regularly performs analysis of Professional Services to gain feedback from customers and sales teams, assist in establishing pricing models, delivery management and tracking of service opportunities.
Assists the sales teams in the development of Professional Services strategies for customers.
Participates in the evolution of the companys Professional Services Portfolio.
Responsible for project deliverables. In doing so the Consultant will be responsible for managing the schedule, budget, scope, issues, risks, and communications.
Demonstrate strong leadership qualities in organization, planning, facilitation, risk analysis, controlling, negotiation and communications (verbal and written).
Core competencies such as initiative, relationship building, influencing others, working independently, problem solving, and decision making are required.
What you must have:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Business Administration or Engineering
Masters in Business Administration (MBA) is an asset
Project Management Professional (PMI-PMP) or Masters Certificate in Project Management is preferred
Minimum of 10 years business experience.
Proven experience required in managing and directing resources in professional services capacity in the delivery of customer solutions.
Minimum 2 years experience with providing proposals for Cybersecurity services & solutions.
Minimum 2 years experience with providing proposals for IT Forensic services.
Working knowledge of and experience with Cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST etc.
Working knowledge of and experience with Azure cloud environments and Azure services in customer environments.
Working knowledge of and experience with O365 environments and O365 services in customer environments.
Minimum of 2 years experience with IT talent recruitment services.
Minimum of 2 years experience in developing solicited/unsolicited customer proposals and customer contracts.
Minimum of 2 years experience in managing & negotiating contracts with vendors, partners and consultants.
Minimum of 2 years experience with planning, recruitment, coordination, and management of the resources needed to effectively support major projects.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors and internally at all levels of the organization up to and including corporate executive.
Experience with conducting an effective needs analysis of a customers business operation and business drivers.
Knowledge of the companys business products and service offerings.
Excellent analytical, planning, organizing, and coordinating abilities.
Minimum of 2 years experience managing cross divisional project teams and working with various stakeholders including Executive Management with a demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate with all levels of the company to achieve results.
Minimum of 2 years experience in managing IT projects (i.e. Infrastructure, Software, Telecommunications) including but not limited to managing requirements, solution design, solution development and testing.
Proven experience in using software applications including, Salesforce, Leankit, Office 365 suite of products (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint etc.)
Relevant North American Telecom experience.
Experience providing consultation to internal and external clients with regards to professional services.
Minimum 2 years experience in managing project deliverables, managing the schedule, budget, scope, issues, risks, and communications.
Ability to engage and interact with clients on needs, scope projects and deliver on project demands.
Provides logical thinking, troubleshooting, presentation, and communication skills with a strong drive for results.
Excellent problem analysis/solving in the performance of developing and/or modifying systems and applications.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to deal effectively with:
(a) others
(b) ambiguity
(c) conflict resolution
(d) diplomacy
Ability to handle multiple customer engagements concurrently while managing engagement deliverables and client expectations.
