General Role Description
As the Security Systems Installation & Service Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all installation objectives are completed, providing technical leadership to staff to complete installations in a timely manner. In this client facing role, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to resolve installation problems with innovative solutions will be critical to your success in this position.
General Duties/Key Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):
\xc2\xb7 Supervise and manage a team of installation technicians and sub-contractors during the installation of all security systems to ensure client\xe2\x80\x99s expectations are met.
\xc2\xb7 Plan, prioritize and assign projects and tasks to the installation team.
\xc2\xb7 Work closely with the operation team to oversee and maintain inventory, equipment and materials.
\xc2\xb7 Provide installation/project insights to Project Managers during all project phases to ensure clear communication between the technicians, client, and other stakeholders.
\xc2\xb7 Actively support safety initiatives to ensure a safe work environment compliant with all Health and Safety Regulations & Legislation, while maintaining an accident-free organization.
\xc2\xb7 Ensure adherence to work order\xe2\x80\x99s specifications and establish procedures and policies.
\xc2\xb7 Provide consistent communication to manage client\xe2\x80\x99s expectations throughout the duration of the installation life cycle of security systems.
\xc2\xb7 Work with Project Management team to ensure schedule, cost and quality goals are met.
\xc2\xb7 Conduct and coordinate project closeout with clients (as required).
\xc2\xb7 Ensuring team\xe2\x80\x99s adherence to health and safety guidelines.
\xc2\xb7 Oversea the warehouse duties
Work & Education and Experience Requirements:
\xc2\xb7 5+ years working experience in the security systems industry as an installation & project manager.
\xc2\xb7 2+ years in a supervisory and/or managerial role; experience in staff hands-on training.
\xc2\xb7 A firm understanding of alarm, camera & access control systems, and cabling.
\xc2\xb7 Familiar with ULC S561 & ULC 302 guidelines, installations & inspections
\xc2\xb7 Project Management experience and PMP certification considered an asset but not mandatory.
\xc2\xb7 Capability to read Visio and AutoCAD building diagrams, security, and riser drawings.
