About the Role
We're looking for a hands-on
Production Lead
to oversee daily production of ice cream, baked goods, and cafe stock. This role bridges the kitchen and cafe, ensuring smooth operations, consistent product quality, and efficient production flow. You'll work closely with the owners and cafe staff to keep our shelves filled and our customers happy.
Beyond day-to-day work, this is also a career-building opportunity for someone who wants to learn the inner workings of a small food business and potentially grow into a management or partnership position.
Responsibilities:
Lead daily production of ice cream, baked goods, and select cafe items
Coordinate ingredient prep, stock rotation, and inventory management
Maintain production schedules and communicate priorities with the cafe team
Uphold cleanliness and food safety standards in the kitchen
Contribute to continuous improvement of recipes and production systems
Who You Are
Self-motivated and entrepreneurial oriented
Hands-on experienced in making ice cream, either commercially or as a passionate hobbyist
Comfortable leading by example in a small, collaborative environment
Adaptable and able to juggle multiple priorities
