Le Gestionnaire des ressources humaines est responsable de laEUR(TM)elaboration et de la mise en A"uvre des strategies reliees au personnel, celles-ci devant atre alignees sur les besoins operationnels ainsi que les valeurs de laEUR(TM)entreprise. Le Gestionnaire RH fournira un leadership et un service conseil aux gestionnaires ainsi quaEUR(TM)aux employe(es) en ce qui a trait au recrutement, la formation et le perfectionnement, la remuneration et les avantages sociaux, la paie, la gestion de la performance et la sante et securite au travail. Enfin, cette personne fournira des recommandations en termes daEUR(TM)amelioration continue et agira e titre de champion dans la gestion du changement et des nouvelles initiatives.

Rales et responsabilites

  • Travailler avec laEUR(TM)equipe des operations pour identifier, creer et mettre en A"uvre des solutions innovantes en ressources humaines qui vont ameliorer les performances de laEUR(TM)entreprise en lien avec la fabrication
  • Conseiller la haute direction sur diverses questions relatives aux employes et aux relations de travail (caEUR(TM)est a dire la gestion de la performance, la gestion de l'absenteisme, la gestion des invalidites, les enquates sur le milieu de travail, les departs daEUR(TM)employes), y compris la compilation et la preparation de donnees a laEUR(TM)appui de recommandations futures
  • Encadrer les gestionnaires et les superviseurs en matiere de communication, de retroaction, de reconnaissance et daEUR(TM)interaction en lien avec leurs employes
  • Fournir un soutien complet envers les demandes du personnel concernant les politiques et les procedures
  • Collaborer avec les gestionnaires pour la mise en forme des descriptions de postes (aptitudes et competences), laEUR(TM)examen des curriculums vitae et le processus daEUR(TM)embauche
  • Superviser le cycle complet de recrutement et concevoir des strategies pour attirer, evaluer et embaucher des candidats qualifies
  • Faciliter laEUR(TM)orientation et laEUR(TM)integration des nouveaux employes
  • Gerer les differents problemes d'employes, tel que la mediation et la gestion des procedures disciplinaires
  • Mener les entrevues de depart, cerner les principaux enjeux et formuler des recommandations daEUR(TM)amelioration, le cas echeant
  • Soutenir les efforts de formations locales
  • Gerer les cartes de temps et le traitement de la paie pour assurer le paiement adequat du personnel
  • Mener des etudes de marche concurrentielles pour etablir des pratiques salariales et des fourchettes de remuneration qui aident a recruter et a retenir du personnel de qualite
  • Aider a encourager les talents internes et participer aux decisions sur les promotions a l'interne
  • Servir de point de contact pour les programmes RH, y compris le PAE, les assurances collectives et les REER
  • Surveiller laEUR(TM)engagement et la retention des employes et faire des recommandations
  • Soutenir les programmes de Sante et Securite pour assurer un environnement de travail securitaire
  • Enquater sur les incidents en milieu de travail et preparer les rapports
  • Surveiller les indicateurs cles RH pour identifier les tendances au niveau operationnel et les problemes strategiques necessitant une planification
  • Gerer divers projets RH lies a la strategie RH de l'entreprise
  • Autres responsabilites assignees.
Qualifications

a?ducation: Baccalaureat en Gestion des Ressources Humaines, Administration ou Relations Industrielles

Experience: Dix (10) annees et plus d'experience en ressources humaines

Competences informatiques: Maatrise de la suite Microsoft Office et des systemes SIRH (Workday de preference).

Certificats et licences: Accreditation CRHA ou CRIA un atout
  • Solide connaissance des normes du travail et des pratiques de paie canadienne
  • Excellente comprehension des lois sur la Sante et Securite au Quebec
  • Excellentes competences en communication verbale et ecrite
  • Excellentes competences interpersonnelles et de resolution des conflits

Position Summary

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for developing and implementing HR people strategies that are directly aligned to the operational business needs and the values of the Company. The HRM will provide leadership and guidance to operations leaders and employees with respect to recruitment, training and development, compensation and benefits, payroll, employee engagement, performance management, and health and safety. Finally, they will provide recommendations for improvements and act as a change management champion for new initiatives.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Work with operations team to identify, create and implement innovative human resources solutions that enhance business performance specific to manufacturing
  • Advise Senior Leadership on diverse employee and labour relations issues (i.e. performance management, attendance management, disability management, workplace investigations, employee exits) including compiling and preparing evidence to support appropriate recommendations.
  • Coach Managers and Supervisors in their communication, feedback, recognition, and interaction responsibilities with the employees who report to them
  • Provide overall employee relations support to all staff inquiries regarding policies and procedures
  • Partner with hiring managers in formatting job descriptions (skills and competencies), review resumes and interview process
  • Oversee a full-cycle recruitment process and design strategies to attract, evaluate and hire qualified candidates
  • Facilitate new employee orientation and onboarding
  • Handle staffing issues, such as mediating disputes and directing disciplinary procedures
  • Conduct exit interviews, identifies key issues, and trends and makes recommendations for improvement as appropriate
  • Support the coordination of local training opportunities
  • Manage timekeeping and payroll processing to ensure proper payment of monies to staff.
  • Lead competitive market research to establish pay practices and pay bands that help to recruit and retain superior staff
  • Help foster internal talent and participate in key promotional decisions
  • Serve as the local point of contact for HR programs, including EAP, health benefits, and RRSPs
  • Monitor employee engagement and retention and suggest recommendations
  • Support H&S programs to ensure a safe work environment
  • Investigate workplace incidents and prepare reporting
  • Monitor key HR metrics to identify operational level trends and strategic issues requiring action planning
  • Manage various HR projects related to the HR strategy
  • Other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications

Education: BacheloraEUR(TM)s Degree in Human Resources Management, Management or Employee Relations

Experience: 10 plus years of relevant Human Resources experience

Computer Skills: Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and HRIS system - Workday preferred

Certificates & Licenses: Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) preferred
  • Strong Knowledge of employment standards and payroll practices
  • Good understanding of QuebecaEUR(TM)s Occupational Health and Safety laws
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
