Faculty Appointment Types Part-time Job Summary
The School of Access and Continuing Education department at the College of New Caledonia, Prince George campus, is looking for qualified Part-time Faculty for the Human Resource Management Post-Diploma Program in Winter 2024 Semester to teach:

Strategic HR Planning
Performance Management
Employment Law, Standards & Human Rights

We are looking for Part-time Faculty who can help us not only deliver the program courses but also advance the college\xe2\x80\x99s strategic vision which is: (1) learning across a lifetime, (2) student success-focused education and training, (3) organizational strength and agility, and (4) community engagement and partnership. Courses within the Post-Diploma include, but are not limited to, Compensation and Benefits, Recruitment and Selection, Employment Law, Performance Management, Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Relations, and Training and Development.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of recent experience in the Human Resource Management field.
  • Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior, Industrial-Organizational Psychology or a related field.
  • Direct experience in employee/labour relations preferred.
  • CPHR designation preferred.
  • Provincial Instructor Diploma will be considered an asset.
  • Previous teaching experience at the post-secondary level or a Provincial Instructor\xe2\x80\x99s Diploma is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in teaching indigenous students and/or indigenous curriculum development would be considered an asset.
  • A relevant combination of education and experience may be considered.
