Human Resources Intern
to support our growing business.
Perma-Pipe Canada, Ltd. is a dynamic, global supplier of pipe coating solutions and factory pre-insulated piping systems to the oil & gas, district heating and cooling and industrial markets.
OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a motivated HR Intern to join our team and assist in our initiative to enhance our data, controls, and compliance environment. This role will be instrumental in supporting our policy, process, and procedure upgrades, and various technology implementations. The HR intern will assist the HR department with managing and supporting the company's systems and operations.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with HR teams across different countries to assess, clean, and standardize HR data.
Participate in and support the documentation and upgrade to compliance documents.
Develop comprehensive documentation related to policy and processes.
Assist in ad-hoc HR projects and initiatives related to data analytics, process optimization, recruitment and onboarding.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Beginner or intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to effectively navigate organizational interdependencies and build relationships effectively.
Demonstrated ability to deliver results, work within ambiguity, and successfully managed unresolved situations, frequent change, or unexpected events.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
