The Opportunity



We are looking for a well-rounded HR leader to join our team! The HR Consultant Lead will be responsible for leading HR initiatives with LDHR clients in all areas of Human Resources and ensure clients are supporting their business with the most suitable HR best practices in place to maximize their business potential.

In addition to core consulting responsibilities, the HR Consultant Lead will provide strategic oversight and mentor HR professionals. This role will contribute to the growth and direction of LDHR's client strategy and internal leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities will include:



Support the development and execution of the company's long-term growth strategy, focusing on identifying new business opportunities Work alongside the President by providing proactive Human Resource planning and support within HR functions to support client initiatives of operational and workforce objectives Contribute to business development efforts, , client relationship management, and service expansion strategies. Oversee the implementation and integration of enterprise-wide HR solutions across multiple clients, ensuring alignment with business priorities and long-term goals. Acting as the HR expert and overall consulting key stakeholders in all areas of human resources to maximize their business results through their teams, ensuring alignment with operational objectives. Identifying human resource gaps in all areas of HR, including but not limited to: compliance, health & safety, total rewards & benefits, training and development, recruitment, compensation, organizational effectiveness, performance management, succession planning, leadership coaching, etc. Participate in all aspects of recruitment and talent acquisition, ensuring the best fit is placed Some travel to various client sites to support HR initiatives, building trust and providing sound judgment in all areas of human resources Develop policies and procedures as they relate to the human resources of each individual client Create and lead performance management, talent reviews, and overall succession planning within client organizations Support performance management and coaching talent to success Recommend appropriate actions in performance improvement up to and including terminations Identify, develop, and execute effective training programs as they relate to client needs Support and develop compensation, incentive, and total reward offerings pertaining to client needs to maximize the employee experience and meet appropriate HR objectives Support any required mandatory health & safety needs pertaining to specific client needs Overall, provide creative and flexible solutions in all areas of human resources Administration of all initiatives required as needed Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals, providing coaching, guidance, and performance feedback to build internal capabilities. Act as a strategic HR Business Partner to client executive teams, offering insight on organizational design and leadership development. Manage workforce deliverables to ensure all client expectations are met within the expected timelines and support the team in identifying opportunities for efficiencies and overall client experience enhancement

Requirements:



University degree in HR or related area, coupled with CHRP and/or CHRL Minimum 3-5 years' experience in an HR Management or HR Consultant / Business Partner role Ability to travel to various client sites within York Region, GTA and surrounding areas Experience managing and mentoring a team of HR professionals Strong strategic thinking and business acumen in aligning HR practices to client business goals Excellent leadership skills and demonstrated ability to motivate and energize creative professional teams Administratively skilled in MS Office products and good overall technical abilities Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Self-starter with an ability to recognize gaps and take action Team player who demonstrates a supportive, respectful, and collaborative culture Flexible and willing to support client demands and deadline oriented Solution-focused and highly driven to meet and exceed client expectations
