Dolce is now seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our team at Dolce Intl BMO Canada in Toronto, Ontario.

Job Summary

Wyndham Hotels and Resorts is searching for a Human Resources Generalist for a 1 year assignment, who will be reporting to Human Resources Director. Human Resources Generalist will provide exceptional team member relations while assisting in all aspects of Human Resources function with focus on Recruitment and other administrative duties.

Education & Experience

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum Knowledge: Requires advanced knowledge of specialized or technical field or a thorough knowledge of the practices and techniques of a professional field. May require knowledge of policies and procedures, and the ability to determine a course of action based on these guidelines.
  • Formal Education and Job-Related Experience: This position requires a University degree (Bachelors) and/or College diploma in Human Resources Management or related program.
  • License, Registration, and/or Certification Required. Currently working towards or must have CHRP designation.

Fundamental Requirements

Essential Functions
  • Responsible for interviews, screening applicants and making necessary recommendations to the leadership team
  • Assists with administrative duties
  • Organizes, and facilitates associate functions.
  • Assists training activities, coordinating training schedules and activities, and conducting training and Orientation.
  • Acts as a resource for human resources record keeping and reporting functions
  • Preparation of the property\'s newsletter.
  • Assists with the Health & Safety program as necessary
  • Builds and maintains a positive working relationships
  • Works with management and team members to ensure the effective facilitation of upward and downward communication.
  • Participate and assists with action plans based on the results of the Team Member Engagement Survey.
  • Coordinates Human Resource programs in accordance with Company Human Resources policies, practices and procedures.
  • Assists HRD in ensuring compliance with local legislation concerning team members and working conditions.
  • Assists in handling accident/illness related (WSIB) administration, filing reports, managing claims, monitoring and implementing RTW programs.
  • Assist in the administration, maintaining and tracking benefit eligibility, enrollment, ongoing changes, and terminations.
  • Maintains the accuracy and integrity of the Human Resources Information System and compensation
