The opportunity: *The role is responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient operations of the human resources function. This position is instrumental in implementing the HRIS (UKG). *
We are currently seeking a full-time *HR Technology and Analytics Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient operations of the human resources function. This position is instrumental in implementing the HRIS (UKG). Under the supervision of the VP of People & Culture, the duties and responsibilities of the HR Technology and Analytics Specialist include, but are not limited to, the following: *
Spearheads implementation of the HRIS (UKG), consults with management across departments to gather requirements and determine HRIS needs;

  • Documents processes and creates training resources, provides educational support and service to end users, provides technical support to troubleshoot the HRIS as needed;
  • Administers day-to-day HRIS systems and activities, maintains HRIS systems, ensures HRIS system updates are scheduled and successful;
  • Gathers, analyzes and interprets trends or patterns in HR metrics, prepares reports and presents findings to management in a digestible manner;
  • Works closely with technology team to optimize HRIS processes, stays abreast of technological advancements, anticipates and integrates new software;
  • Develops and monitors dashboards, collects data and assists with defining service level agreements (SLAs) within the HR department;
  • Supports the VP of HR and the global HR team in building out HR policies and procedures;
  • Acts as the main point of contact for employee queries on HR-related topics, performs a range of tasks across the human resources function;
  • Administers and executes HR programs including new hire orientation and onboarding, compensation, benefits, employee relations, performance and talent management, occupational health and safety;
  • Maintains compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations, recommends best practices.
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications: *
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a related field;
  • Three (3) to Five (5) years of relevant human resources experience in employee relations and HRIS;
  • Previous experience successfully leading and implementing HRIS required, experience with UKG is an asset;
  • In-depth knowledge of applicable employment standards, health & safety legislation, human rights and worker\'s compensation policies;
  • CHRP or CHRL designation, or actively pursuing designation;
  • Technical mindset with excellent analytical skills, process-oriented with a passion for automation and resolving business problems with technology;
  • Highly competent using a range of computer software such as MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), HRIS (UKG), Power BI;
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills;
  • Ability to present complex information in a simplified way to tell a story, backed by data to communicate insights to a variety of audiences;
  • Self-starter with a curious and analytical mindset;
  • Ability to work independently and to work with cross-functional teams;
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and follow through on important projects; and
  • Strong attention to detail.
