Human Resources Generalist PureGold Red Lake Mine
Be a part of the beginning team to build and operate this multi-generational asset that is the heart and soul of Red Lake Ontario now and into the future.
Reporting to the Senior Human Resources Business Partner, the successful candidate supports HR processes and practices with recruitment, employee communication, human resource information systems super user leadership, and employee relations.
The focus of this role will include:

• First point of contact for all HR related queries
• Lead the recruitment process including posting jobs, resume/application collection, sorting, interview scheduling, reference checks etc. attending community career fairs and liaising with the Community Liaison Officer
• Administer HR-related documentation including personnel files, policies etc using the HRIS software
• Lead the HR orientation and on-boarding process for new Employees
• Involvement in performance management process including annual reviews and terminations
  
• Liaise with authorized persons and organizations
• Communicate effectively with HR staff, managers, site superintendents, and Employees
  
• Perform other HR duties as required

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum three years of Human Resources Administration, mining industry preferred

• Knowledge of applicable employment laws and practices
• Strong communicator including written and oral communication
• Strong IT literacy including advanced Microsoft Excel skills and HRIS
• Willingness to learn a broad spectrum of tasks
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills and attention to detail
• Customer service approach to supporting business needs
• A self-starter that can work under pressure and respond to deadlines in an organized fashion
