POSITION SUMMARY


The HR Generalist supports the Human Resources team by assisting in key HR functions, including recruitment, employee engagement, compliance, and HR administration. This role plays an integral part in fostering a positive work environment, supporting hiring efforts, and ensuring smooth HR operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to grow within the HR field.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Recruiting & Onboarding:



Assist in full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and offer letters. Support hiring managers with recruitment strategies to attract top talent. Conduct new hire orientations and facilitate a smooth onboarding experience.

Employee Relations & Engagement:



Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and benefits. Assist in organizing employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and team-building events. Support performance management processes, including tracking performance reviews and providing guidance to employees.

HR Administration & Compliance:



Maintain and update HRIS systems, employee records, and documentation. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies. Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and employee inquiries.

WHAT ARE THE QUALIFICATIONS I NEED TO HAVE?

Required Skills:



Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HRIS systems. Basic understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.

Education and Experience:



Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (preferred). 0-2 years of experience in human resources, recruiting, or related internship experience. HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus but not required.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BE A SUCCESSFUL HR GENERALIST?


Experience changing/building out HRIS systems and HR programs. Work in technology or Managed Service space.
WHAT IS THE WORK ENVIRONMENT LIKE?


Standard office conditions with occasional travel to company sites or customer locations. May require extended hours during peak periods or on-call support for urgent matters. Frequent interactions via meetings, email, and phone to address HR needs and concerns.
