FORMAL QUALIFICATIONS
\xc2\xb7 Minimum completion of post-secondary education, preferably in Human Resources Management.
\xc2\xb7 Minimum of 5 years related Human Resources experience.
\xc2\xb7 Working towards C.H.R.P. designation. CORE COMPETENCIES

\xc2\xb7 Excellent communication skills at all levels (written and verbal)
\xc2\xb7 Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced environment.

\xc2\xb7 Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
\xc2\xb7 Strong analytical ability.
\xc2\xb7 Sound computer skills in word processing, spreadsheet and presentation graphics applications. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
\xc2\xb7 Manages all staffing activities including the preparation of job postings, maintenance of requisitions, conducting internal and external searches, interviewing candidates, making hiring recommendations to Managers, providing feedback to candidates, and preparation of all contracts and related paperwork.
\xc2\xb7 Assists with the development of HR related training and development programs and conducts training/presentations.
\xc2\xb7 Liaises with the EHS Representative on Health and Safety program activities relative to the client group, ensuring awareness and involvement in disability claim (WSIB/WI) and return to work program effectiveness.
\xc2\xb7 Advises and assists Managers/Employees with work/non-work related issues and the interpretation and administration of company policies and procedures to ensure fair and consistent treatment company wide.
\xc2\xb7 Participates in the development and continual updating of company policies, programs and the Employee Handbook in accordance with legislated requirements.
\xc2\xb7 Ensures the effective implementation of company employee orientation programs.
\xc2\xb7 Coordinates the Hotline procedure, including Hotline administration and investigation.
\xc2\xb7 Prepares month-end charts and reports for QOS measurables (as assigned) in a timely manner.
\xc2\xb7 Oversees training, benefits, and HRIS administration ensuring excellent customer service and accuracy..
\xc2\xb7 Accountable to ensure zero non-conformance on all periodic TS 16949 and ISO 14001 audits.
\xc2\xb7 Coordinates annual performance/development/wage review process ensuring completion on time.
\xc2\xb7 Monitors new and revised legislation and ensures compliance to legislated requirements in the area of Human Resources.
\xc2\xb7 Maintains strict confidentiality of all information obtained, written or verbal, within the Human Resources Department.
\xc2\xb7 Maintains a professional customer service oriented manner within the company and supports the corporate image as per Human Resources departmental objectives and company policies.
\xc2\xb7 Correct unsafe acts or conditions, ensuring all health and safety policies are followed.
\xc2\xb7 Be involved in the accident/incident program within own department. Job Type: Full-time Salary: $50,000.00-$75,000.00 per year Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
Experience:
  • Human resources: 5 years (required)
