Our team is growing and we are actively looking to hire HR Generalist to join our team! This role will report to the Manager, Human Resources.
Role Designation: Hybrid 1-2 days in Office
Accountabilities: Employee Relations
Respond to inquiries and coach managers and employees on HR related policies, programs, and procedures Assist in the investigation of employment related matters raised by either management or staff, including Speak-Up complaints, Privacy Investigations, and Audits. Support the documentation, communication, and education of ACG\xe2\x80\x99s Performance Management Process Support HR Business Partners by running reports on Onboarding milestones/Exit Interviews, setting up interviews with employees and HRBPs and potentially conducting the interview when needed. Support HR Business Partners with auditing quarterly Agency performance reviews to ensure effective application (or administration) by Agency Managers. Provide support and training as required to employees related to the HRIS Self Service (VIP) for submission of leaves, monitors all onboarding, internal movement
Recruitment
Assist the HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition Specialists in reviewing assessments, pre-screening resumes, conducting phone screens and handling end-to-end recruitment of entry level roles within respective client groups
HR Programs/Other Duties
In partnership with our Employee Leaves Representative, provide bilingual support for our absence management program, including support to employees and managers through the leaves process and STD/LTD referrals. Coordinate and Administer the Annual Compliance Process (Code of Ethics/Global Code of Business Conduct) Research and coordinate the development of new HR policies and procedures. Assisting in the maintenance, administration, and communication of same. Support the facilitation of annual Talent Pool meetings for respective client groups. Provide French support to our Benefits team with employee benefit enrollments and retirements Maintain practices that ensure compliance with company, regulatory, legal and ethical policies and requirements including Sarbanes Oxley. This is done by ensuring thorough comprehension of practices, timely feedback, accurate documentation and participation in audits and reviews. Participate in compensation and benefit survey reviews. Facilitate learning workshops for managers and employees. Protect the health and safety of self and others by reporting unsafe conditions, working in compliance with the law and adhering to the safe work practices and procedures established and required by Allstate. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Post-secondary diploma/degree in Human Resources Working towards HR designation \xe2\x80\x93 Certified Human Resources Professional/Certified Human Resources Leader Minimum 2 -3 years of relevant experience in Human Resources Knowledge of MS Office Products Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills Proven ability to take initiative and utilize good judgement Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work collaboratively
