We are looking for unique and driven students to be a part of our Next Generation Leaders (NGL) summer internship program. Responsibilities :

Are you passionate about people and want to develop your experience in the world of human resources? Are you proactive and known for your innovative ideas, your ability to work effectively in a team and your ability to build relationships? Seize the opportunity to join a human resources team of nearly 20 people within the largest pharmaceutical employer in Quebec.

As part of this internship, you will work closely with the Human Resources Business Partners\xe2\x80\x99 team. You will have the opportunity to discover HR aspects such as labor relations, talent attraction and retention, organizational structure, talent management and mobilization, succession planning and employee development. You will also have the opportunity to:

  • Review the individual performance management process (follow-up plan, disciplinary measures, etc.) as well as build the tools and ensure their deployment to managers
  • Review various HR templates
  • Support the team in various processes and programs
  • Conduct exit interviews and summarize findings
  • Attend management meetings and present human resources updates
  • Participate in internal investigations for more contentious issues
Skills, knowledge and abilities:
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written); fluent in French
  • Strong interest in the field of labor relations or employee relations
  • Ability to develop relationships
  • Passion for people and the employee experience
  • Positive attitude and team player
  • Self-starter, resourcefulness and judgment
  • Organizational skills and ability to prioritize

Here are the eligibility criteria and documents required for the NGL program:
  • You must have at least completed 2 years of your university schooling by the summer of 2023
  • Be available full time from May 8th until August 18th for your internship
  • You must include in ONE (1) document the following:
  • Your CV (maximum 2 pages) - Please indicate your expected graduation date.
  • Transcript (official or unofficial)
  • Answers to the following questions instead of a cover letter, to be submitted via our application platform:
a) During your experience at university, describe a time when you demonstrated your leadership
skills
b) Give an example of a situation where you had to prioritize the goals of your team rather than
your personal goals
c) Please indicate if you are part of a credited internship program

Here is a glimpse into the typical week of an NGL:

Mondays to Thursdays: You will be working in your respective department related to your field of study.

Fridays: You will be assigned to a corporate project developed by senior management on which you will work with other NGLs and present it at the end of your internship to our executive team.

Education : Bachelor

Experience : 0 years: 2nd year university student or higher in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or Organizational Development
