The Opportunity: Branksome Hall is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Human Resources Coordinator to support the full range of operational human resource activities including recruitment and selection, onboarding, salary administration, and health and safety. As a member of the Human Resources team and reporting to the Associate Director, Human Resources, the HR Coordinator will draft employee correspondence, contracts and communication, coordinate logistics related to employee on and offboarding, training and orientation, and respond to employee queries. With keen attention to detail and strong technical skills, the incumbent will also maintain the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), and complete the human resources related aspects of payroll and benefits administration, in collaboration with the Payroll and Benefits Officer. The successful candidate will maintain employee files, prepare reports related to human resources data and employee activity as well as coordinate mandatory training. Motivated to support employees within the school, the Coordinator brings a strengths based, collaborative and service oriented approach to their practice as well as a commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion and to our school values. Candidate Profile: As the ideal candidate, you will have post-secondary training in a related field along with 2-3 years of experience in a human resources administrative support role. Experience in the non-profit or education sector and completion of human resources training or courses would both be considered assets. A combination of experience and education will be considered. You are tech savvy with high proficiency in a range of computer applications including Google Suite, Microsoft Office and online softwares. Experience with ADP WorkForce Now would be considered an asset. A team player, you are skilled at working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders and coordinating multiple activities, while ensuring confidentiality and contributing to a welcoming environment. A self-starter with sound judgment, you possess the ability to build strong relationships across the community. Strong organizational and creative problem solving skills complete your profile.
