This is something that you might want to know about if offered an interview (hint, hint).Human Resources CoordinatorThe Human Resources Coordinator reports directly to the Director of Human Resources and provides support in the areas of Recruitment, Retention, Foreign Worker Programs, Attendance Management, and Organizational HealthPrimary Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive full-cycle recruitment processes for frontline vacancies
  • Proactively partner with business leaders to determine hiring requirements and provide clear and consistent updates on requisitions and candidates.
  • Communicate with candidates to provide exceptional candidate experience and ensure all pre-employment criteria are met.
  • Serve as an organizational health liaison; conducting regular touchpoints with new hires to support healthy team integration
  • Conduct and track exit interviews
  • Serve as a main point of contact for incoming Foreign Workers and provide support with work and community integration (housing, government applications, etc.)
  • Track and report on key recruitment and retention indicators including time to fill, turnover, probation completion, etc.
  • Review for quality assurance on data received through posting process and initiate any required follow-up activity with the hiring manager.
  • Support in development of overall recruitment strategy including planning, cost analysis, and implementation.
  • Administrate and support attendance management initiatives
  • Other HR related work as needed
Job Knowledge and Competencies:
  • Completed or currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Experience with full-cycle recruitment is an asset
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Excellent computer skills including MS word, excel and online database management
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, while remaining tactful and pleasant in all interactions
Working Conditions:
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, daytime, full-time or part-time
  • Environmental Conditions: Indoor, dust, heat, cold temperatures
  • Physical Demands: Lifting, carrying up to 20lbs, repetitive hand movement, sitting for extended periods of time
  • Non-Physical Demands: Reading, writing, verbal instruction, working with others, working alone, deadlines to be met, direct dealings with outside sources
