The HR Assistant will support the Administrative Services Division, specifically the Human Resources department in day-to-day administrative support.
Tasks:
Leads recruitment and selection for the Agency.
Assists with data entry.
Assists with file management.
Assists with HR projects as needed.
Assists other departments within the Administrative Division with administrative tasks.
Other duties as assigned.
Hours of Work: Regular Office Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm
Position Effective: September 5, 2023
Requirements:
Minimum of one-year post-secondary school in an administrative or business program preferred.
Students must be eligible for a co-op placement as part of their program.
Preference will be given to students with a focus in Human Resources or working toward their CHRP.
Work experience in an administrative support role preferred.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Problem solving skills.
High degree of comfort with computers, able to adapt and learn computer programs quickly.
Strong computer skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
