Position Summary:

The HR Assistant will support the Administrative Services Division, specifically the Human Resources department in day-to-day administrative support.

Tasks:
  • Leads recruitment and selection for the Agency.
  • Assists with data entry.
  • Assists with file management.
  • Assists with HR projects as needed.
  • Assists other departments within the Administrative Division with administrative tasks.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Hours of Work:
Regular Office Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm

Position Effective:
September 5, 2023

Requirements:
  • Minimum of one-year post-secondary school in an administrative or business program preferred.
  • Students must be eligible for a co-op placement as part of their program.
  • Preference will be given to students with a focus in Human Resources or working toward their CHRP.
  • Work experience in an administrative support role preferred.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • High degree of comfort with computers, able to adapt and learn computer programs quickly.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
