Position: : Human Resources Assistant (Full-time, 8 weeks)
Hours of work: : 35 hours per week
Reports to: :Director of Human Resources
Application deadline: :Until position is filled
Position Summary: Responsible for providing administrative support to Human Resources programs, including assistance in the recruiting process.
Responsibilities:
Assists with recruiting and hiring e.g. resume screening, telephone screening, background checking, documentation
Assists with planning and organizing special events
Assists with the coordination of orientation and training sessions
Provides administrative support for other duties as assigned
Education:
Areas of study ? Human Resources Management
Qualifications:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality
Detail oriented and resourceful with the ability to take initiative
Strong time management, organizational, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel and Powerpoint
Ability to work both independently and effectively with other team members.

Requirements:
