We are looking for a Human Resources Administrator to join our team on a part-time basis for approximately 12-16 hours per week depending on workflow and timelines. We are open to a flexible schedule between Monday and Friday based on candidate and organizational needs. Flexible around children\xe2\x80\x99s\xe2\x80\x99 school schedules, education schedules, other work schedules. The Opportunity The Human Resources Administrator is responsible for providing a variety of support to ensure our human resources programs and services run smoothly and effectively while meeting the needs of our organization. Key Responsibilities \xc2\xb7 Provide general support for human resources programs and services \xc2\xb7 Prepare and issue employee communication, as directed, such as employment offers, promotion letters, discipline letters and termination letters \xc2\xb7 Coordinate activities throughout the employee lifecycle: new hire orientations, onboarding and offboarding. \xc2\xb7 Maintain the Resource Management Tool and supporting forms \xc2\xb7 Respond to general employee queries \xc2\xb7 Facilitate and coordinate the recruitment and selection process including the preparation of job postings/advertisements, receiving and filing resumes, shortlisting candidates, scheduling interviews, reference checks, contract/offer packages, and preparing candidate correspondence, career fair presentations \xc2\xb7 Create and maintain personnel files and maintain accuracy, privacy and confidentiality of personnel files \xc2\xb7 Examine personnel files to answer inquiries and provide the information to authorized persons \xc2\xb7 Update & maintain Employee Manual including HR policies and processes, as directed \xc2\xb7 Maintain organizational chart \xc2\xb7 Coordinate with Accounting and Payroll Manager, as needed, regarding benefits & payroll updates and changes \xc2\xb7 Calculate key human resources metrics for review by management \xc2\xb7 Provide support as needed to the administration team. Requirements \xc2\xb7 Must be authorized to work in Canada \xc2\xb7 High school diploma combined with 2 years of human resources administrative support experience or currently enrolled or completed a post-secondary program in business with a specialty in human resources \xc2\xb7 Knowledge of computer systems and the ability to work with the Microsoft Office Suite \xc2\xb7 Ability to maintain confidentiality \xc2\xb7 Understanding of relevant legislation \xc2\xb7 Understanding of personnel records management \xc2\xb7 Excellent attention to detail, organizational and record-keeping skills \xc2\xb7 An ability to work independently Application Process Please submit a cover letter and your resume outlining your skills, experience and interests by end of day October 18, 2023 to resumes@cwce.ca.
