Our client in St. Laurent, Quebec is actively looking for a Human Resources Administrator
to join their team.

Title: Human Resources Administrator
Location: St. Laurent, Quebec
Length of Assignment: 1 Year Contract with Potential for Permanent
Salary:$40,000-$50,000/yr

JOB DUTIES

• Complete full recruitment cycle which includes - but is not limited to -developing job descriptions, posting job ads online, attracting applicants, contacting recruitment agencies when required, screening resumes, performing in-person and phone interviews, coordinating interviews with hiring managers, performing background checks, and attending job fairs.
• Support activities necessary to ensure the continuous improvement and sustainability of the health and safety system and act as an internal resource for the business for any health and safety-related matters.
• Ensure that all Health & Safety Committees/ Representatives are established and operating according to the legislated requirements in Qu\xc3\xa9bec.
• Monitor, assess and report hazard/ risks in each workplace.
• Review the injury and illness frequency as required in Qu\xc3\xa9bec.
• Responsible for being up to date on current health and safety-related trends, industry issues, and/or legislative changes in Qu\xc3\xa9bec.
• Manage all CNESST claims for Qu\xc3\xa9bec.
• Support the Human Resources Department with translations of documents
• Support the Human Resources Department with Canada Life benefits administration and inquiries
• Complete all other ad-hoc tasks

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bilingual French/English is a must
• Completed Quebec schooling in either Human Resources or related field
• 2 years of Canadian Human Resources experience
• Computer experience in Microsoft Office
• Driver\'s license required
