LaEUR(TM)hate/laEUR(TM)hatesse est la premiere impression que laEUR(TM)invite aura du restaurant et du bar. LaEUR(TM)hate/laEUR(TM)hatesse accueille les invites rapidement, de maniere courtoise et aimable avec un regard et un sourire. LaEUR(TM)hate/laEUR(TM)hatesse est responsable de la prise de reservation avec Open Table. La personne est egalement responsable de verifier les reservations de la journee et peut prendre la decision daEUR(TM)accepter des invites qui naEUR(TM)ont pas de reservation. LaEUR(TM)hate/laEUR(TM)hatesse connaat la totalite des menus, des ingredients et des disponibilites ou indisponibilites de la journee. LaEUR(TM)hate/laEUR(TM)hatesse occupe un rale central dans laEUR(TM)organisation du restaurant/bar et connaat les stations de service, leurs taches quotidiennes, leur rythme et leur capacite maximale. LaEUR(TM)hate/laEUR(TM)hatesse connaat egalement les clients reguliers, leur nom de famille et leurs preferences. Un emploi du temps flexible est necessaire et inclut les fins de semaine et les jours feries.

Responsabilites principales

Accueillir et installer les invites, coordonner les reservations et repondre aux demandes de maniere efficace, courtoise et professionnelle afin de satisfaire au mieux les invites, tout en respectant les politiques du Four Seasons.

Installer les invites rapidement a une table deja dressee pour le nombre daEUR(TM)invites et selon leurs preferences.

Installer le kiosque de laEUR(TM)hate ou de laEUR(TM)hatesse, verifier le livre des reservations et formuler des recommandations concernant la mise en place de la piece, le maintien de laEUR(TM)organisation des stations et du compte de couverts du restaurant, tout en respectant la capacite maximale de chaque serveur afin de repondre aux normes du Four Seasons.

Repondre au telephone en respectant les normes du Four Seasons et prendre les reservations des invites ou fournir des renseignements sur le restaurant ou sur tout autre service de laEUR(TM)hatel.

Anticiper les besoins des invites, repondre aux demandes ou aux problemes des invites de maniere appropriee et appeler les invites reguliers par leur nom, en laEUR(TM)utilisant de maniere coherente.

Inspecter et entretenir les menus pour assurer leur qualite, leur etat et leur apparence et connaatre de maniere approfondie toutes les options du menu et les plats du jour.

Travailler de maniere etroite avec le service de laEUR(TM)hebergement pour identifier les invites internes qui soupent dans nos etablissements.

Faire etat de tous les incidents ou situations inhabituelles au superviseur aussi vite que possible.

Executer toute autre tache connexe.

Exigences du poste

Travailler des horaires atypiques et atre disponible les jours, soirs, nuits, fin de semaines et feries ;

Competences en service a la clientele irreprochables. Grand enthousiasme et competences interpersonnelles superieures, orientation sur les resultats et tres grande motivation.

Bonne comprehension de laEUR(TM)exploitation relative a la nourriture et aux boissons.

Grand professionnalisme et degre eleve daEUR(TM)integrite pour respecter les exigences de confidentialite de laEUR(TM)hatel.

Connaissances fonctionnelles des systemes MS, Word et Excel.

Souci constant du detail, sens aigu de laEUR(TM)organisation, axe sur les resultats et capacite a effectuer plusieurs taches en mame temps dans un environnement au rythme rapide.

Attitude positive et approche de reussite face a naEUR(TM)importe quelle tache.

Une experience en tant quaEUR(TM)hate ou hatesse dans un restaurant et bar de luxe est un atout.

Posseder des connaissances en informatique, atre capable de se servir daEUR(TM)un equipement informatique et avoir de laEUR(TM)experience dans Open Table est un atout.

aStre capable de rester debout pendant 8 heures.

Le poste necessite de bien saEUR(TM)exprimer, lire et ecrire en anglais et en franaais.

Job Summary

The Host/ess is the guestaEUR(TM)s first impression of the restaurant. The Host/ess greets guests promptly, courteously, graciously with eye contact, and a smile. Utilizing Open Table, the Host/ess takes reservations, reviews the daily reservation book and has the ability to seat guests without reservations. The Host/ess has a complete working knowledge of the menus, menu ingredients and what is available/unavailable for that day. A principle role within the restaurant, the Host/ess is familiar with server stations, their daily assignments, their personal timing patterns and their maximum workload capacity. The Host/ess is also familiar with frequent guests and knows their names and preferences. Flexible schedule is required and includes weekends and holidays.

Core Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests while coordinating guest reservations and responding to inquiries in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons' policies;

Seat guests promptly at a table pre-set for the number in the party and according to guest preference;

Set up host/hostess stand, review guest reservation book, and make recommendations as to the set-up of the room, maintain a station chart and cover count for the restaurant and the bar while recognizing the maximum workload capacity of each server in order to meet Four Seasons Service standards;

Answer telephones according to Four Seasons standards and take guest reservations or provide information regarding the restaurant or any other hotel service;

Anticipate the needs of guests, respond accordingly to guest inquiries or problems, and recognize regular guests by name and utilize the guest's name consistently;

Inspect and maintain daily menus to ensure quality, condition and appearance while developing a complete working knowledge of all menu items and daily specials;

Work closely with the rooms department to identify in-house guests dinning in our venues;

Reports all incidents or unusual situations to the supervisor as quickly as possible;

Perform any other related tasks.

Desired Qualifications and Skills

A flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts: days, nights, weekends and holidays;

Excellent customer service skills with great enthusiasm, superior interpersonal skills, result oriented and highly self-motivated;

Good understanding of F&B operation;

High level of professionalism and integrity while maintaining the confidentiality of the hotel;

Working knowledge of MS systems; Word and Excel;

High attention to detail, strong organization skills, result orientation and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment;

A positive attitude and a can-do approach to any task;

Previous high end restaurant and bar host/hostess experience is a plus;

Knowledge or the ability to operate computer equipment and experience with using Open Table is an asset;

Must be able to stand for an 8-hour shift;

Require reading, writing and oral proficiency in the French and English languages;
