We are currently seeking an organized and proactive HSE Administrator to support our Health,
Safety, and Environmental (HSE) program within a busy earthworks and heavy civil construction
environment. This is a temporary summer position reporting directly to the Chief Operations Officer
and the HSE Manager and plays a key role in ensuring company-wide compliance with all
occupational health and safety regulations, while supporting safe operations across our projects and
job sites.
Key Responsibilities:
? Support the HSE Manager in the implementation, monitoring, and continual improvement of
the company's HSE Management System
? Ensure all safety documentation (e.g., FLHAs, inspections, site orientations) is current,
complete, and properly filed -- both electronically and in hard copy
? Build and maintain job site safety binders and ensure required documentation is distributed to
field staff and supervisors
? Coordinate and track employee certifications, safety training, and site access requirements
? Schedule and manage pre-employment and site-specific drug and alcohol testing
? Assist in the preparation and review of safety reports, incident investigations, and corrective
actions
? Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, toolbox meetings, and hazard assessments
? Provide administrative support during internal and external safety audits
? Collaborate with internal trainers and supervisors to ensure all mandatory training is
completed and up to date
? Support return-to-work and modified duty programs
? Work with the HSE team and site supervisors to support a culture of safety awareness and
continuous improvement
