Scope of the position:
We are seeking an HR Recruiter to support staffing and HR operations across Canada. In this role, the successful candidate will manage the full recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding top talent. Additionally, they will assist with general HR responsibilities, such as maintaining employee records, supporting HR initiatives, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. The HR Recruiter will collaborate closely with hiring managers to address recruitment needs, attract top talent, and support employee engagement and development, contributing to Robertson's growth and fostering a positive workplace culture.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in full cycle recruitment, including posting jobs, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
Coordinate onboarding for new hires, including documentation, orientation, and integration.
Assist in implementing sourcing strategies to attract top talent through various channels (social media, job boards, networking, referrals, professional organizations).
Create engaging job ads to attract and maximize response rates from qualified candidates
Work closely with hiring managers to secure requisitions and align recruitment efforts with organizational goals to attract the best candidates.
Manage multiple job requisitions efficiently, ensuring thorough candidate evaluation and accurate record-keeping.
Contribute to company culture by participating in the social and newsletter committees and supporting employee engagement initiatives.
Be an active member of the Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) to promote a safe work environment.
Handle other administrative duties as assigned by the Manager
Skills and qualifications:
2-3 years of experience in recruitment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Ability to adapt and respond to changing priorities with flexibility.
Positive Attitude and a great team player
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
