We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Recruiter to join our team. The HR Recruiter will be responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates, while ensuring a positive candidate and hiring manager experience. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, knowledge of recruitment practices, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with HR supervisor to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates
Utilize job boards, social media, and networking strategies to attract top talent
Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates and hiring managers
Conduct reference checks and support the offer process
Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment records in the system
Assist with onboarding processes, including preparing documentation and coordinating orientation
Support employer branding initiatives and promote the company as an employer of choice
Communicate with recruitment agencies to ensure the recommendation meet the requirements
Ensure compliance with company policies and Canadian employment laws
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
1-3 years of recruitment or HR experience, ideally in Oil & Gas corporate or agency settings
Knowledge of Canadian employment standards and recruitment best practices
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience using recruitment websites
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
