Job Description

Our client is looking for an HR Project Advisor for a 1-year contract position in Calgary, AB. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
Hybrid work schedule: 3 days in the office, 2 days from home. Summary: The primary role of the HR Projects Advisor will be to execute project work related to the HR Operations function. This may include providing support for development of programs, policies, procedures, and processes which require alignment and optimization, aligned to the long-term goals of the HR team. This role will report to the Senior Manager, HR Operations.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate disciplined project management consistently applied to all projects
• Standardize and strengthen HR practices across the organization
• Review and improve current processes and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity
• Working across the function, execute the project plan in collaboration with key SMEs
• Research and apply HR trends
• Support in the creation of a variety of HR department and company wide training specific to HR Operations initiatives
• Measure KPIs for each project, including delivering projects on time, within standards and aligned to the company objectives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree - HR Designation preferred
• 5+ years in Project Management, including ability to manage multiple projects at one time
• 5+ years of HR Operations experience
• Ability to influence individuals and groups
• Experience with Workday and/or SAP would be considered an asset
• Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative
• Organization and time management skills and attention to detail
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Problem solving and enabler
