Our Ideal Candidate Reporting to the CEO, the HR Manager provides support for a wide variety of human resource functions including recruitment, on-boarding, training, employee relations, and performance management. The HR Manager advises managers, supervisors, and employees in HR practices including policies and procedures and other related legal and regulatory subjects. The HR Manager also performs a variety of administrative tasks. The ideal candidate has a passion for working in an entrepreneurial environment driving strategies that influence and foster a positive culture and work environment. Position Responsibilities \xc2\xb7 Full cycle recruitment: manage the end-to-end recruitment process for identified positions \xc2\xb7 Facilitation of Orientation, On-Boarding, and Compliance training with new hires \xc2\xb7 Provides support in the delivery of various HR projects and initiatives, being a key partner in designing, documenting, communicating and implementing processes, procedures, and programs to support the human resources needs of the business and the strategic initiatives of the organization \xc2\xb7 Communicate to staff the full range of HR Company policies, guidelines, and procedures \xc2\xb7 Coach managers on handling employee questions, assist with issue resolution of employee complaints and requests that pertain workplace policies, allegations of wrongdoing, and general terms and conditions of employment \xc2\xb7 Respond and provide resolutions to employee relation issues - review employee and manager issues and work with business leadership co-resolve \xc2\xb7 Counsel managers in handling employee performance issues including decisions around disciplinary action and review of any related documentation prior to meeting with employee \xc2\xb7 Work with Management on effective management strategies as well as HR policies and procedures to foster strong leadership and teamwork and ensure an effective workforce \xc2\xb7 Assists in the processing of employee enrollments, status changes, and terminations \xc2\xb7 Coordinate employee training to meet immediate and future needs by maintaining database(s), scheduling, and managing logistics \xc2\xb7 Managing employee files for all staff \xc2\xb7 Establish effective working relationships and business partnerships based on trust, experience, and credibility with all staff Qualifications and Skills \xc2\xb7 University Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a similar field \xc2\xb7 3+ years\' experience in a similar role but looking to stretch and grow their career \xc2\xb7 CHRP or CHRL designation is preferable \xc2\xb7 Payroll experience is an asset \xc2\xb7 Superb communication (verbal and written) with the ability to develop deep relationships with individuals at all levels \xc2\xb7 A positive thinker who is driven to \'make a contribution\' to the business \xc2\xb7 High sense of urgency and able to effectively manage multiple priorities \xc2\xb7 Excellent organizational and time management skills \xc2\xb7 Team-player with a proven track record in collaborating with business groups \xc2\xb7 Values-based individual who operates with a high level of integrity and honesty \xc2\xb7 Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to view situations from multiple perspectives \xc2\xb7 Strong attention to detail \xc2\xb7 Respect for confidentiality \xc2\xb7 Highly proficient computer skills in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook) Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Benefits:
